Each licensing board has unique requirements and participants seeking CEUs may have to complete additional forms, attendance sheets, etc. See individual licensure categories below. Be sure to inform Ku De Ta Mindfulness that you are requesting CEU credits during Registration.

Failure to notify Ku De Ta Mindfulness that CEU credit is being requested in advance may result in incomplete or no credit.

Nurses

MBSR is offered by Ku DE Ta Mindfulness Project in conjunction with Awakening to Grace. Awakening to Grace is approved as a provider of continuing education for nurses by the Florida Board of Nurses: CE Provider #50-17367. This course is approved for 20 CE hours. The Arkansas Board of Nursing accepts nursing continuing education activities approved by all State Boards of Nursing.

PSYCHOLOGISTS

The 8 week MBSR course based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s curriculum has been accepted for Continuing Education activity by the Arkansas Psychology Board in the past and Ku DE Ta Mindfulness Project anticipates that completion of the course will be accepted as valid Continuing Education activity, but no advance approval has been received.

SOCIAL WORKERS

Licensed Social Workers may download the Social Work Licensing Board’s CEU reporting form at www.arkansas.gov/swlb/forms Please fill out your identifying information and bring the form to the last class for signature by an Instructor.

COUNSELORS

The Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling is in the process of revising CEU credit of revising CEU credit requirements. Counsclor CEU credit for MSRB has alwys been accepted in the past. Currtnt CEU approval for MBSR is probable but can not be guaranteed.
